Soul Satisfying...How’s that for a title? I’ve been using a lot of blues in my recent designs. Mostly that slice of the color wheel from yellow-green, green, blue-green, and blue – with a heavy concentration on blue-green. I started writing this blog post with the intent of exploring the concept of this color in the bathroom. My working title was Thirst Quenching Bathrooms, but as I started pulling all of my inspiration images in one place, I realized that the concept I’ve been using is much more than that. Thirst quenching is a lovely blue and white bathroom, perhaps with some green freshness mixed in. Soul Satisfying is deeper and it speaks to you. It has life. It is textural. It tells a story. It washes over you. In interior design and bathroom design, it brings together different elements – maybe some wood, or rough natural stone; perhaps a mix of rough and smooth.
